From the moment we bought Vertrouwen to the state in which it is now, we have been constantly working to get closer to the moment of departure for the world trip, step by step.

In June of 2020, we planned our departure for April 2021. At that time it seemed that the impact of COVID-19 had reached its peak and that with the measures in place we could still start our journey. We are now dealing with a 2nd COVID-19 wave that has a global impact that could affect our plans for 2021. Nevertheless, we still plan for the same departure time! Let's put it this way… .. If you are not driven by positivity, you should definitely not embark on a world trip.

The crew;
The crew consists of 5 members who all bring their own specialism and can support or receive one or more specialisms of another member.
In order to sail Vertrouwen, in addition to route planning, monitoring weather conditions, navigation and maintenance (Rini's main task), an integral appeal is made to every person on board to ensure that Vertrouwen can sail in a safe and efficient manner. But there are more essential duties that are best guarded when an individual crew member takes charge.
Since, in addition to sailing trips, SSA also wants to offer diving packages in the most exotic locations in the world, Kyrill and Selina have the main task of planning the diving trips, coordinating them with the planned route and actually leading and executing the diving package.
Kim will be involved in sound and vision, social media, editing, and communication, while Megan will be responsible for logistics planning and inventory management.

What is the SSA concept;
The Seven Seas Adventure crew wants to use social media and Patreon to draw attention to the adventures of the ship and her crew. In this way we try to generate enough followers and supporters from which the available passenger spots during our sailing trips and available diving packages can be offered. These dive packages will be offered at the most exclusive and exotic dive sites in the world. Kyrill and Selena are both highly experienced international dive instructors who have dived the most beautiful places worldwide. The route that Vertrouwen will navigate will be tailored to the visit to those dive sites. This creates the possibility to choose to sail fully or partially to a diving destination and then make the choice to dive or see it as the end destination of the adventure. On the other hand, participants who mainly want to dive during the period that Vertrouwen is visiting a dive site can choose, for a longer or short period, to sign on only during those weeks.
Guests who sign up for Trust for a certain period of time, may be part of the group of people who can experience and propagate the seven seas adventures in person in the vlogs that are posted via social media.
